Gdańsk

The third port

(minimum time of the whole cruise: 4 h.)

Although Gdańsk is not far away from Sopot, its centre is not located directly at the bay. It takes about  40 minutes to sail, at permissible speed, through the port to the old town located by the Motława river. During this time, you will have a chance to see historic places: Westerplatte (where World WarII broke out), the exquisiteWisłoujście Fortress, transhipment wharfs, shipyards, ship repair docks, and the remnants of the collapsed Gdańsk Shipyard. On entering the Motława, you will be delighted by the breath-taking view of the old town. You will pass along the Long Bank, admiring the most beautiful monuments, including the famous Gdańsk Crane. We will moor in the very centre so that you can see the sights in the old town.

Hel

The fourth port

(minimum time of the whole cruise: 4 h.)

Hel is often called the End of Poland. It is impossible to go any further by car. Here the peninsula is beautiful and picturesque. It is even more fascinating from the perspective of the sea than from land. For many years Hel was associated with a military base and reinforced terrain. It used to be a large navy and fishing port.

Why Hel?

The uniqueness of this place goes without saying. Now it has beautiful, clean beaches and it connects the sea with theGdańsk Bay.

A walk around Hel will be an opportunity to see military fortifications and reinforcements. Hel has the only seal centre in Poland, where you can see live seals. There is the Sea Museum located in the former protestant church. The restaurants serve good, fresh fish. Summer diving bases give you an opportunity to learn diving, and advanced divers may explore shipwrecks around the area.

Jastarnia

The fifth port

(minimum time of the whole cruise: 4 h.)

The port is conveniently located in the middle of the Hel peninsula. It used to be a bustling sailing and diving training centre. It is a base for fishing boats and it has a small ship repair yard.

We enterJastarnia through a tunnel between two sandbanks. In high season Jastarnia is a place for leisure and relaxation. It has beautiful beaches and offers an opportunity to see interesting nature of the coast.

Kuźnica

The sixth port

(minimum time of the whole cruise: 4 h.)

Kuźnica is a typical fishing village, the port was built and made available to tourism only 2012. Earlier it only had a quay for fishing boats. This place is cosy and picturesque. Kuźnica is not the main tourist point on the map of the peninsula.  This is why there are comparatively fewer people there in high season than in Jastarniaor Jurata. The closeness of the beautiful beach from the side of the open sea and small beaches of the bay makes one feel like on an island.Friendly bars and a small pier are there to go for a walk and relax. The entrance to the port is also charming, because it goes through a tunnel between sandbanks.

In the close proximity there is a sandbank of the shallowness and sand island called Ryf Mew which runs in the direction of  Rewa.

In the spring, the so-called Herring March is organised there: a walk on this sandbank from Kuźnica to Rewa.

Rewa

Seventh port

(minimum time of the whole cruise: 4 h.)

Rewa is located at a gorgeous basin that has to be visited from the side of the sea.

It is worth devoting more time to this cruise. Rewa is a small fishing island; currently it is a tourism point and a mecca for windsurfers.  There is a quay for small sports vessels. Rewa is also a sand peninsula running from land to the direction of Kuźnica. It used to connect to the Ryf Mew sandbank. At present there is a tunnel and a passage to the Puck Bay.

This part of the bay is called Small Sea. Looking to the north and west of Rewa, there is a beautiful basin called the Rzucewo Bay.

It is a shallow, open part of the bay, which overlooks the beautiful Rumia valley.  In Rzucewo there is a classical castle and a place of the former settlement of seal hunters.

It is a wonderful region to swim and relax.

Sailing in the direction of Rewa we can see the remnants of the so-called Babie Doły Torpedo Research Station. It is the former torpedo weapon experiment site of the Nazis: a very interesting facility on water.

Puck

The eighth port

(minimum time of the whole cruise: 4 h.)

Puck is a picturesque old townwith a rich history, located in the west coast of the Puck Bay. It is very much connected with the sea and fishermen. It is a major scout sailing training centre. Puck is a fishing boat port and an independent yacht marine. It is a base for fishing boats and developing tourism sailing. Many sailing and windsurfing regattas are held there in high season.

The little town has beautiful architecture and marketplace.  Here in Puck, in the fried fish point called “Smażalnia u Budzisza” you will have the best fish in this region (in our subjective opinion).

Seals

Seals

Our yacht can take you for a several hour cruise to the Vistula River delta, where seals sun themselves on sandbanks. It is possible to watch them live in their natural environment. These animals are very curious and they often swim close to the vessel to have a look at the visitors.

Pilgrimage on the sea

Pilgrimage on the sea

In the time of St. Peter and Paul the apostles fair, that is around 29th June, festively decorated boats, fishermen`s boats and yachts with singing crews enter the Puck Bay. A unique holy mass for fishermen and sailors is held on the waters of the bay. Subsequently all the vessels sail to Puck to participate in the fair. It is a wonderful tradition that is worth seeing.
